About
Welcome to LaShaw Ranch Roasters, a gem nestled in the charming town of Rockford, Washington. Located at 18805 WA-27, this artisan coffee shop has quickly garnered a reputation for its exceptional roasting techniques and high-quality blends. With a commitment to quality and a warm atmosphere, LaShaw Ranch Roasters offers an unparalleled experience for coffee enthusiasts.
This local treasure is helmed by Tom, a knowledgeable and passionate owner who not only roasts on-site but also shares his love for coffee through personalized recommendations. You can feel the care with which each cup is crafted, and reviews from satisfied customers reflect this sentiment perfectly. As one reviewer, DJ Adams, points out, “You’ve found it at Tom Sawyers Country Coffee,” a neighboring establishment he praises for its own unique offerings and serene location by the Spokane River.
At LaShaw Ranch Roasters, the emphasis on quality starts with sourcing only the highest grade of beans. According to customer John Weik, the roastery boasts equipment that is “many notches above what most roaster's use,” ensuring that each brew is rich and flavorful. With a diverse selection that includes Water Processed Decaf and Organic Blends, coffee lovers are spoiled for choice. Whether you’re a fan of a smooth drip brew or a bold espresso, there’s something for everyone here.
Another highlight is the cold brew. Misty Cusick raves about it, claiming the nitrogen-infused option is a must-try. With a system that pulls nitro from the air, the cold brew is crafted to perfection. Additionally, LaShaw Ranch Roasters offers a delightful range of fun drinks, teas, and smoothies, catering to all tastes. For non-coffee drinkers, the Golden Latte, rich with turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties, stands out as a healthy and delicious choice.
Linda Jenks fondly reminisces about her experiences at LaShaw Ranch Roasters, expressing how the staff made her feel like a valued customer despite being new to the establishment. This connection, paired with their smooth coffees free from the usual bitter aftertaste, has made her and many others miss the shop dearly.
In conclusion, LaShaw Ranch Roasters is more than just a coffee shop; it's a community hub that fosters connection over quality brews. Whether you're a local or simply passing through Rockford, I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by to savor a cup of their finely roasted coffee. You won’t be disappointed!

“ A fantastic roastery and exceptional equipment being used to roast, many notches above what most roaster's use, producing the finest coffees and blends available! Also using only the highest grade of beans, another rare find!!!! ”
“ This establishment is sorely missed here in Spokane. They are wonderful and I amongst others highly recommended them. (May have to take a drive to Rockford. When they first opened in Spokane..The young ladies serving 15 of us were calm, professional and delightful to work with. The new owner Tom gave us a brief education of the history of the original owner and tips on other coffees. A couple of weeks later I brought in friends to experience their "flights". The coffees were smooth with no bitter bite. We purchase numerous bags of various coffees they packaged at the venue. We felt like long time valued customers. We wish you nothing but positive experiences and many years of continuous success! BRAVO ”
“ This is a great coffee shop. My friends from the bay area load up when they come to visit, but you can buy online too. The coffee is roasted in shop. You can meet the owner, who is kind and knowledgeable, and smell all the different roasts. The cold brew is not to be missed, both as a pour and on nitro. The nitro brews are made per cup, with a system that pulls nitro straight from the air instead of individual canisters. The staff is also very talented. You won't be disappointed if you ask for recommendations of fun drinks. I recommend the undertone They also have a selection of teas and smoothies for non coffee drinkers, as well as the "Golden Latte," which is a tasty tumeric based drink that is full of awesome antiinflammatory properties! They have a great atmosphere. The shop is SO clean. The patio is great and they have a big garage door that opens to make the shop feel open air. They also have a conference room available, which I plan to utilize in the future! They also just got ice cream, and it is definitely some of the best in town. Do not miss the salted caramel pretzel. They recommend it affogato style, with an espresso shot poured on top. I have been here several times and I love it. I have never had a bad experience. ”
“ Great coffee shop right outside of Rockford! Would definitely recommend stopping by! They have amazing cold brew and fun treats! ”
“ Good tasting coffee. Please smells good! Very polite people to talk to. Layout and themes of the place is beyond interesting. Old coffee machine. Sitting is comfortable. Menu is easy to read. Haven't tried fruit drinks yet but I hope to. Possibly my new favorite coffee shop in Spokane. ”
“ With so much competition in the coffee space in our area, no roaster holds a candle to Lashaw Ranch Roasters. Not only are they great at coffee, they've got great customer service, and our community focused. The golden gem down in rockford is the cutest! They value the people in our community & are always willing to help where they can. If youre looking for coffee for retail purposes or just looking to brew the best at home, anything from Lashaw ranch Roasters is perfect. I wish more coffee stands in spokane used them, their product would improve dramatically! ”
“ Some people that have probably never even been here are leaving bad reviews for no good reason. I came here while visiting the area on vacation and it was a truly lovely coffee place that contributed to my positive view of Spokane. My husband and I (and yes, we are people of color ) happened to meet the owner and he was very sweet and welcoming and the baristas were very kind as well. There is a good amount of seating & a great atmosphere with vintage/antique coffee tins and things like that decorating the walls. They also have ice cream and we got some on the side with our coffee. Great place. Thanks Gary! ”
